POTBELLY!! good heavens, you have no idea. or maybe you do. either way, heres a brief back story of why the cheese.
we took a three year vacation from the desert and lived in dallas, tx. i loved living there. every so often i find myself saying "i miss texas" _____ insert reason here.
the other day a random reasoning for the texas blues hit. it was a potbelly sandwich. from out of the blue i had a deep craving for a potbelly chicken salad sandwich. random for two reasons.
1. i haven't eaten meat since my magic.
2. we live in phoenix, very few of our beloved texas spots exist here, least of all potbelly.
or so we thought!! on a drive to the mall i spotted a potbelly tucked away al sneaky like in a strip mall off of camelback rd. {next to a cafe rio if you're interested} oh the excitement! it was like mana from heaven! oh thank ya Jesus!!
we drove twelve miles for you, lil chicken salad sandwich smothered in hot peppers. oh my! only you could get me to break my no meat no wheat diet.
you were worth it sir. yes you were.
despite the fact that my first sandwich had an
and we got a free dream bar out of the deal! it's a good thing you're twelve miles away or else we'd have a major problem.

ReplyDeleteokay, now i'm crying! thank you so much for your kind words. it feels so good to back! i've missed me too. it's silly but so much of myself had reasons to be because i shared them here. my work life has most recently given me more freedom and its made me excited about posting more. now i feel motivated to post and can't wait for to morrow to post another. I too pray i keep it up. it's far too therapeutic and i miss the relationships i gained from do so.
